**Birth and Early Life:**
Muhammad Abdul Mateen Hashmi was born in Islamabad, where he also spent his early childhood. His family lineage traces back to the Banu Hashim clan, specifically to a respected spiritual figure, Hazrat Syedna Sheikh Badr-ul-Mulk (RA), Hashmi, Qureshi, Alvi, from Seham, Rawalpindi.

At the age of eight, his father was transferred to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a result, his adolescence was spent in Jeddah, where he continued his education at the Pakistan Embassy School.

**Return to Pakistan and Residence:**
After his father’s transfer back from Saudi Arabia, the family settled in Rawalpindi. Muhammad Abdul Mateen Hashmi completed his Master’s degree from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad.

He also worked for some time with the Rawalpindi Board of Education and served for several years in the Ministry of Labour in Islamabad. Later, he pursued a teaching career at various universities, including NUML, COMSATS, and CUST.

During his academic years, he was an outstanding cricketer and was awarded Best Bowler in an inter-collegiate cricket tournament. He also received offers to play for top cricket clubs in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, but chose not to continue professionally in order to focus on his education.

**Political and Social Engagement:**
From a young age, Muhammad Abdul Mateen Hashmi showed a strong interest in politics and supported different political parties at the local level over time. He has also been actively involved in social work.

In addition, he is the owner of a newspaper and the author of a book. Recently, he founded and registered a political party called the “Mukamal Pakistan Party,” where he serves as the founding Chairman.

He had been planning to establish a political party for many years, driven by the belief that existing political parties had not been able to deliver the level of progress and status that Pakistan truly deserves.

Currently, along with his political activities, he is also engaged in business.
